PREMIUM ANJI WHITE, Anji Bai Cha
China - Anji county, Zhejiang province
Our premium Anji White Tea is from an ecologically friendly, pesticide and fertilizer free, tea farm, high up in the Zhejiang province, surrounded by trees, ponds and mountains.
Anji White Tea is a Green Tea, but is called White Tea because its buds are a light green white. It is a special tea variety as it contains a very high percentage of amino acid, around 7-11% as compared to that of 2-4% in other green teas. This high percentage of amino acids/anti oxidant gives Anji White Tea a super fresh and sweet taste.
To ensure that the buds are still white, the picking of Anji White Tea is extremely short. If picked after the middle of April, it is only used to produce other green tea.
The fresh leaves have a fresh citrus/nutty aroma, which when brewed produce a light, silky, delicate, fresh, lemony, sweet, long lasting after taste.
Our tea is sold in multiple packs of 50g.
