Our supreme high mountain Dragon Well Tea is handpicked in a mountainous tea farm, free from fertilizers and pesticides at an altitude of 1300m. This is a rare Dragon Well Tea, from an ancient tea farm of over 30 years in age.

During the tea picking, the pickers get up at 3am and walk along a mountainous path for 2.5 hours until they reach the once abandoned tea farm. The wild tea bushes average 1.5m in height, meaning the pickers have difficulty in picking the tea buds. Picked only once a year, in a naturally good tea growing environment, these wild growing Dragon Well tea bushes produce some of the very best tea buds of any Dragon Well Tea.

The tea leaves are pan fried to give the tea a deep chestnut aroma and light orchid fragrance.

When brewed the tea has a floral, delicate, sweet taste, making it a good choice of relaxing beverage in the workplace.

Our tea is sold in multiple packs of 50g.

Excellent tea, which I first met in 1982, near Hangzhou, an hour's train ride from Shanghai.

As long as brewed at 80 degrees, tastes divine!

Brings back the memories of the tea commune.

Excellent green tea, fragant & light.

I’ll always drink this tea especially at lunch. Taste is subtle fragrant and thirst quenching.

Very nice!

Excellent and aromatic tea. I'll continue buying this tea.

Fantastic. Savoury grass, subtle mango fruitiness and a gentle sour &ldquo "zing" at the back of the tongue afterwards. Requires careful brewing to get the most out of it. Also very well packaged for freshness.

Wow! Get some!! This is beautiful in all senses; the leaves are gorgeous both dry and steeped, as is the aroma.

But the taste is where it's at! This tea has that fresh, sweet, slightly buttery, vegetal taste with a hint of mango that really deserves to be savoured without distraction.

This is a relaxing tea, but the caffeine effect did appear for me whilst drinking the second steep.

For those more used to Indian teas, this is similar to my favourite Winter Frost white tea from Billimalai (Nilgiri).

This is the nicest green tea I have ever tasted. It does not have the bitterness of the usual green teas I used to drink. It is definitely my breakfast drink of choice being delicate but flavoursome.

I have been hooked on Dragon Well Green Tea since I first discovered it. I try other green teas but always come back to this one. I like it's fresh slightly sweet taste.

I usually buy organic but when I saw that this tea, although not certified organic, was picked from a mountainous area free from pesticides and was cheaper than the one I had been buying I thought I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed. I've just reordered.

Rob, Shropshire

I'd forgotten how good green tea tastes, until I ordered and brewed some of your Dragon Well. I'm hooked again.

Ma préférence !! Thé de qualité supérieure à ce que j'ai déjà consommé par ailleurs, bien choisir la qualité de l'eau utilisée, ainsi que la température
