One of Taiwan's most famous Oolong teas, our award winning Alishan is from a small mountainous tea farm in Alishan village.

Mr Lee and his family has been producing this exceptional tea for many years and has won First Prize in the Oolong category for two consecutive years.

The tea is handpicked at altitudes of 1100 - 1300 metres, where the cool damp mountain air and the rich dark soil are ideal for growing this extremely high quality Oolong tea.

The leaves are processed and lighly fermented in the traditional way to produce a tea with a fresh, floral aroma. Alishan Oolong may be infused several times without losing its refreshing buttery taste.

It is perfect for drinking at any time of day.

Our tea is sold in multiple packs of 50g.

Excellent quality and flavour. Can rely on several steepings for perfect cups of tea.

Love Alishan oolong...and this one did not disappoint . Lovely tea that is out of stock in many tea houses.

Another very good tea from Abbey. Very clean, floral taste nice long lasting after taste and very infusable with each cup gliding down the throat smoothly. For the price this is a great tea and a good intro to Alishan. Two thumbs up from me.

This is a lovely tea; very clean tasting. Bear in mind that I'm drinking it alongside Anji Bai Cha and Dragon Well... both 'greener' teas. Not surprisingly it is a 'thicker' more substantial brew than either but equally refreshing. I have not tried this Gong Fu (yet) instead brewed in a porcelain pot using 2g per 250ml for 2m30s with 85c water. The presentation is wonderful... I think this is called 'dragonfly head' or somthing similar. By the end of the second steep those little balls have unravelled into perfect, and fairly sizeable whole leaves. In taste terms, it's a halfway between a light dark tea and more substantial white. Definately worth sampling.

Enjoying this one, lovely refreshing flavour. Good service and delivery.

This is a superb, award-winning Oolong tea, grown and handpicked in the mountains of south western Taiwan.
