2014 QIAO MU QING ZHUAN (raw) bricktea colour
one brick - 250g £ 27.50

This is a pure and special raw Pu erh tea brick of excellent quality. From BANG WAI SHAN mountain in Lancang county, the tall tea trees grow in an ancient tea plantation at altitudes of between 1600 -1800 metres, free from pesticides or fertilisers. Usually, tea produced from ancient arbour trees at high altitudes is of a much better quality and taste.

Carefully selected for day to day drinking, the leaves from individual farmers are blended at  CHANG YAN Tea Factory to produce this very special, excellent value, smooth Pu erh tea, which has a great mix of flavours and a clear tea liquid.

The large tea leaves are hand-picked and withered before compressing into bricks. The resulting tea is rich and full-bodied with a sweet aftertaste. This is a Pu erh that is ready to drink now or may be stored for several years to mature and for the flavours to develop, similar to a young wine.
