2019 MENG HAI YUAN WEI (raw) backhesiantea colour
one cake - 357g £ 34.00

This is a very fresh, light, affordable raw puerh tea cake from the famous Menghai  tea region.

Carefully selected for day to day drinking, the leaves from individual farmers are blended at  GAO SHAN YUAN Tea factory to produce this very special, excellent value, smooth Pu erh tea, which has a great mix of flavours and a clear tea liquid.

It is ready to drink now but may be laid down to age further. The whole large leaves are hand-picked from ancient arbour trees of between 100-200 years old, sun-dried, withered and pressed in stone moulds.

The resulting tea is soft and sweet with a woody aroma.
