GU SHU means ‘ancient tree’ and this ripe tea brick is compressed from leaves of 150 year old ancient wild trees hand picked on the BuLang mountain in the Menghai region.

The older the tree the deeper are the roots which absorb water and trace minerals which nourish the growth of the tree. Growing in a natural environment free from pesticides and fertilisers these ancient trees produce a robust, smooth, rich tasting tea. The wild arbour leaves are hand picked, air dried, pan fried, fermented, steamed, then pressed into a brick form. Great skill has been taken in crafting this top quality tea brick.

BuLang Tea is considered a must-have for Pu erh tea collectors and tea masters.

This is a most highly prized, sought after, difficult to purchase, very pure and rare Pu erh of limited availability.

This is my first time purchase so I was looking forward to trying this tea. We were not disappointed, it had a nice smooth taste and brewed up really well, a nice orange brown, not too strong. I bought this for its amazing health benefits as well as being a lover of tea. I have just purchased two more bricks. We are well and truly hooked 5*****

The whole large leaves are hand picked from 150 year old wild Arbour trees at high altitudes.
