2014 FO HAI SHU YUN (ripe)
China - Meng Song county, Xishuangbanna county, Yunnan province
Carefully selected by Abbey Tea from Meng Song and Bulang Shan, this is an imperial quality ripe Pu erh tea cake. The beautiful, whole tea leaves are hand picked from semi-wild ancient arbour trees in the forest at high altitudes, where the climate is ideal for producing a high quality Pu erh tea.
Using only the best leaves from the old trees, the tea leaves are hand picked, air dried, pan fried, fermented, and then blended by a retired ‘Master Blender’, before pressing in stone moulds in the traditional way. The resulting tea is fresh and smooth with a sweet aftertaste and a lingering charm.
Our FO HAI SHU YUN tea is from an ecofriendly farm where the family farmers take great care of their trees using only natural fertilisers to produce a pure Pu erh tea of the finest quality.
