2016 BULANG SHAN (ripe) innerpiecebrockentea colour
one cake - 357g £ 40.60

A very nice, unusual, fermented, ripe Pu erh tea cake from Bulang Shan mountain, one of the most famous of the "new" Pu erh tea mountains.

Easy to break by hand, this cake has 44 segments in a "Waffle shape".

The ancient, pesticide-free tea gardens at an altitude of 1200 metres, which benefit from a sub-tropical climate where rain is plentiful and the soil rich, produce a tea of exceptional quality. The whole wild leaves are hand-picked, sundried, fermented and pressed into "Waffle shaped" moulds.

Teas from this area are full-bodied and distinctive. With a sweet, but not thick/ heavy taste, this is a delicious tea for everyday drinking, but also ideal to be laid down.

Easy to break by hand, we recommend using one segment for each multiple brew.
